Remove the filter hose and give the shaft a wobble to check for play. Some small amount of movement is ok...

Id say you have priced your car a litte low more like £2400-3000. Recently bought my 110 csw for £2400 but needs new doors, but had lift kit, uprated arms, snorkel few other bits and bobs, genuine 200tdi though... On ebay they seem to fetch atleast 1.5 with no tax mot and needing chassis work..

Really enjoyed today, and nice to meet everyone again! Ended up towing the jeep home, after a failed attempt with a bungie cord as a belt lasted 4 miles... Thanks again to matt for leading and organising, and also for the diff guard! As ive said before im up for a weekend away to wales...

maplins they do a starter kit for £70 comes with everything you need in one box. Or you can get a midlands set up from them for around £85
