What to do and progress to date... Landy for Poland

As Poland is so LPG friendly I'm sure you could get twin underslung tanks for the 90, thus getting your space back - I'd prefer a 110 anytime but V8 is way more fun. As for comfort/distance either will nearly kill you!

What to do and progress to date... Landy for Poland

Love a v8 on LPG [That's what I run] but the 90 is just too small I fear so option A looks like a goodun, middle seat easily reinstated. I'll get shot for this but given your self admitted lack of skill/knowledge and your location are you sure a LR is wise? Maybe a Land cruiser/shogun/trooper...

IS A CLASSIC RANGE ROVER AN INVESTMENT FOR YEARS TO COME, OR IS IT JUST GOING TO BE A TOY?

Any RRC, whether a rotbox in a barn or a minter doing 500 miles a year will rise in value - history has proven this already with RRC's ................... In the early '80s I knew an old boy who would buy any Morris Minor he could, mint, ratty or rotten - everyone thought him mad - ten years...

    Early series wheels?

Don't want to scrap these if they're valuable/rare - came from an old trailer - if there are numbers where might I find them?

To sell or not to sell... RRC LSE

Keep it for the next 6 months while monitoring the way they are going up in value - then ask the missus if ANY bank can match that rate of interest..................................................

    110 2.5td converted to 3.9v8 overheating problem.

Old school rule of thumb................ when you think you're overheating is your heater blowing hot? If so you're not overheating [yet] good luck - by the way, my original [carb] V8 rad looked fine but ran hot - even after flushing etc. I managed to get a tatty 2nd hand one and it's...

    Speed transducer issues

I'd say your temp gauge is the most important of all, don't trust mismatched senders and electric gauges, replace the whole lot with an old school mechanical gauge, £30.00 or so Durite or Tim are both excellent. After all the work you've done don't risk cooking it with an unreliable gauge...

Other options rather than v8 ,gearbox question

I run a v8, LPG on that box and it's fine - one day I'll find an affordable overdrive and it'll be even better. get yourself a replacement V8 and simplify your project - thus saving time and money for all the other, inevitable bits that need doing. When was it first on the road? Is it registered...

i think i need to buy a defender and would appreciate advice

County Station Wagon is basically a Land Rover estate, therefore NOT a commercial/van thus Lez compliant................... having said that my hard top 110 petrol/LPG is compliant so possibly TFL are only against diesels........................... anything you consider just run it's reg number...

i think i need to buy a defender and would appreciate advice

"bespoke builder"? you in Savile Row then?! Maybe consider a petrol v8 - converted to LPG [plenty to be had] go for a CSW to be sure of LEZ compliance [although my 2 door 110 is exempt] Worth checking but LPG vehicles were exempt congestion charge as well, plus 60/70 pence per litre AND you get...

Series 3 really need help from experienced members, she might have to go.

Stick with it Mark, for the sake of your lad and because this is a very minor problem - hell, keep an eye on the temp, keep it topped up and use it........................ the leak will make itself known eventually.
