    Nuts

Dropped and lost a couple of nuts when trying to fit spot lights so I'm trying to locate replacements. Problem: the nuts fit into a 12mm spanner, what's the common description? Is it M12?

500 miles on one tank. Anyone done better..?

Wrong time of year to be putting veg oil in the tank unless you're being very careful, imo.

    Coolant- again..

Ok, I'm about to change the antifreeze but the previous clown, sorry owner has severed the top off the plug on the thermostat housing. To make matters worse they used putty hardening stuff to fill the hole then glued the sheered piece on top again. Question is, will I still be able to...

    changing thermostat and coolant.

The one on top of the block next to thermostat & water pump, I think.

    changing thermostat and coolant.

What's the best way of doing this if the top plug (not radiator one) has been sealed up? I went to replace both with brass ones but previous owner deals broken plastic one up with the putty stuff that goes hard...

Recently moved to UK from NZ

Read the header and thought wtf, NZ to Bradford:confused2:. Family is always going to pull you closer at some point. Enjoy the site, lots of info here as said. A set of decent tyres and you'll notice a big difference in the Disco, very capable and more comfortable than a 'tratter'.
