Boost gauge reading from plenum chamber?

I'm in the process of fitting a boost gauge in my 300tdi. Searching the web it was suggested that taking the reading from the rear of the plenum chamber as LR had kindly left an opening there for this type of thing. Anyway, I've done the interior part and I'm now moving onto the boost pipe...

    'A' pillar trim removal

Broke 2 out of 3. Improvised & put it back together again. Used one of those 'Flash' stain remover sponge to clean it. Unbelievable difference, highly recommended.

Help buying a discovery please Newbie

If your max budget is £3k then I'd personally be on the lookout for something around the £2-2.5k as you WILL need money aside to either repair or add bits of bling to it sooner or later. Good luck with the search and make sure you've got a good screw driver with you :D

    Alternative tyres advice

See that's the problem ( well one of them:D) on here. Someone mentions round black things, alarm bells ring & then the troops get into attack mode. Why can't we have a thread on which tyres are preferred/best avoided? Nothing to do with 'will these fit or not'; just plain, simple what tyres...

    How would you describe this?

Thanks for input peeps. They have agreed to replace the black wooden cladding along with the guttering and down pipes. Also after asking for a few years they have agreed to replace the rendering as it's another disaster (pics available on request). This has taken about 5/6 years of asking as...

    How would you describe this?

Have been told by housing inspector that this is not dampness but condensation. We've lived in this house for 15 years and have had this problem in most of the rooms. In my living room they even told me that there were too many people (2 adults, 3 kids) that we were breathing too much:jaw...

I wondered about the OAT stuff but decided against it after reading up about it a little. Seams that it (could) cause some kind of internal corrosion if I remember correctly. Didn't think it worth the risk.
