    discs, break calipers, mudshields, something stuck between any of these. wheel bearings normally grind/squeal when they're shot but when you get it on the jack give the wheel a pull/push to see if there's any play

    Evening All, Does anyone know if/where I can get a repair panel for this part of a defender door? Its the section that holds on the door latch! I'm looking to repair these sections on the drivers front and both rear doors of my 1994 300tdi 110. Tried YRM but they only do the bottom section...

    not sure but I think I would get the case off just to rule it out. old 300 TDi's had a problem with the belt that meant it could fly off the gears inside and shread up. LR introduced a mod to fix this. have a look at this...

    someone correct me if I'm wrong but white smoke from fuel is normally because of excessive fuel being burnt! the lack of fuel in your filter points to water which then points to the cylinder head. I know it's not what you want to hear but it's worth getting it checked (even if it isn't the CH)...

    get the hinges on, and I would do both while you have the door apart, shut the door, move it to line it up how you want it, and then tighten the bolts the door seals are only as good as the flatness/straightness of the door frame!
