    Check the connection.fitted a cheap hub to a pals td5 and the 3 amigos cam back.turned out the reluctor ring in the hub was in pieces.

    I fitted a new clutch, borg & beck, new release bearing to my daughters td5. they took it away and reported back that there was a slight click when changing gear.didnt say if when releasing or depressing clutch pedal. any ideas please.just wondering if sold a duff release bearing.

    Today I drained transfer box.oil was very clean and no swarf on the drainplug.i removed the round cover plate and side plate,cogs and bearings look ok.i went into car and pushed hi/lo selector bar on box into high went back under used a large screwdriver in cogs leavered lightly between bottom...

    I just bought one similar.i cut off rear end and welded on complete rear section.but check for rust further on.up inside rear spring mounts and bend on chassis in front of rear wheels.also check body mounts.then make your offer,i paid £890 and im happy with that.

    We did that first,cable moves quite freely.although the selector lever on tranny box doesn't seem to move as far as the lever on my other td5.

    Well today I opened top and removed gear and hi / lo sticks.gearbox seems to be selecting.i also selected diff lock from top and still no drive.so I am assuming transfer box,though could be a clutch issue.i also selected hi/lo direct on lever no difference.
