    New here

Looks very tidy, especially for the age, and will look even better once you've got the right wheels on it!

    Range Rover Sport

If it's cost that little to keep it on the road, I'd say it's owed some money by now. Plus, to be honest, no matter how much cash you throw at a newer one (full size or sport) there's no guarantee you'll get a more reliable vehicle. They're all quite fussy about having the right jobs done with...

    Range Rover Sport

Must have been the most reliable Rangie out there!

Buying my first RR advice welcome

No, it's not a 2WD ****box build for running over protestors or whatever mums do on the school run. But, the ride isn't as wafty as a Full Fat and a lot of them have been messed about with by folk who have no business owning a Rangie. If you want to drive around on the bump stops, buy an Audi...

    Range Rover Sport

If you've not already done so, I'd find the nearest Sport you can (at a dealer so you're not wasting someone's time) and have a good snout around it, drive it, see if it's a suitable replacement. Personally I think Sports are a big step down from the L322. It's like getting out of an S Class...

Buying my first RR advice welcome

Personally I wouldn't touch a sport unless someone was paying me (which is the only time I do touch them!). They're not a real Range Rover, but they also don't seem to be as well taken care of as full size in general. The last one I was under was a 2012 and was considerably more rusty and less...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

She'll find just as many things that need doing, so I reckon so! Hope you're on the mend now and can get back to finding broken bits soon :)

What did you do with your Range Rover today

I thought the answer was going to be, "about two tonne of scrap metal". There are some right knobbers on the roads aren't there?

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Find one very small job to do this week and you'll easily fill the 5 weeks with all the other jobs you have to do ;):D

Shameless Intro - Long time RR fan and owner

Selling up is a bit drastic unless the particles are large or particularly voluminous. Has he given you any more idea what the likely cause is? A lot of miles since the last oil change would start showing some particles in your oil, but it could also be something a lot more serious. Have you...

    L322 2006 L322 4.4V8 catalytic converters

It might be worth ringing round local breakers to see if they have any used but serviceable cats - they don't need to be brand new, as long as the scrapper is a crash damage (if the engine's gone the cat might have overheated and be scrap).

    Hi All - Newbie

Welcome! The Range Rover section is full of helpful lunatics that can't get enough of Rangies. At least you bought a proper one, not an Ejoke ;)

    Hello

Welcome! You'll soon be a mechanic with a Landy on the drive :D I'll be the first to say it - we like pictures, and if you're doing an overland build I'm sure you'd get a fair bit of interest in a project thread over the in Defender section.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Mine did the daily commute today, and I might have talked my father into swapping his bloody awful Volvo S80 for an L322 :Dthat'd save me buying one, I could just drive his!

What did you do with your Range Rover today

The bastids that run the lottery keep pulling other people's numbers out instead of mine :(

Oof, I dread to think what that costs. Do me a favour, when I post saying "looking for an L322" in a few weeks, remind me of that! :D:D
