Has anyone still not heard nothing from 4x4 tom yet, not really in the business of giving money away

I gotta say im usually pretty patient but this is taking the **** a bit, and still no communication from him, anyone else feel like they've been had?

i have been expecting a pair of indicators for over a week now but still nothing

well i took the now tdi powered disco for a drive of about 20 miles today and i have say what a difference compared to the mpi, had no problems with it at all, really really pleased with it, was alot of hard work but was well worth it, all i need to do now is replace the front indicators which...

At last after a scare from the transfer box and many hours its finally finished, just gotta cable tie wires and pipes etc and generally tidy things up, extremely happy with it, cant wait to get it on the rough stuff, but i just wanna thank everyone for any help and advice they provided

Got this sorted now turned out to be the selector pin inside the transfer box was sticking big time, but managed to get it freed up and working sweetly, thanks for your replies james is much appreciated

Well had a quick look at the mechanism and that seems ok, @ james martin, had a look for those adjuster screws u mentioned but cant see any on there

Anyone else got any views on this

so you think it could just be the selector mechanism on the transfer box, and if so do you know if its difficult to change mate?

I do get the 3 positions but no drive in low

yeah i know what you mean, i tried rocking back and forth etc but something definitely isn't working, it feels like it goes in (selects) but no drive

not tried that but i was moving the selector on the transfer box itself with some grips where that linkage connects, thats where i was selecting it from

Managed to change the throttle cable in the end, and sorted the heater pipes, like i say got it all running and all is good so far, still got a bit to do but it's running, well pleased with it so far

Right another update, again not had much time on this again but managed to get the disco all wired up and running today, still got alot to do, bleed clutch, power steering, cut out the old wiring, sort out something with the airbox and put all the interior back toghether and i'm sure there's...

Thanks mate, and thank you for all your help so far, just a quick question did you have to swap the throttle cable's as they look totally different, and they look like a right pain in the the arse to get off the pedal? Cheers mate
