    found on ebay

It's actually pretty easy on the p38 I'm putting the same engine in the new racer (disco) Use the x5 engine rangy p38 manual flywheel, clutch n bellhousing then the disco r380 upgraded to take the torque (well for what I'm doing) then you can buy the loom to run it on the x5 or the rangy ecu...

    Freelander 1 Later models

A friend of mine used to work for Nissan and apparently stuff like this is more common than you'd think, towards the launch of a new plate to "predict" demand manufacturers often pre apply to the dvla for new reg based on common specs.. I wonder if that's what's happened with yours LR pre regit...

    D2 autobox issue

I'm not 100%on the disco auto box but most autos have a srperatevreverse piston setup if your struggling to get anything it could be that the piston valve is stuck open bypassing the pressure used to rotate the shafts for drive.. alternately a freelander for example has friction bands, I've had...

Disco 2 Watling Engineering front / push towbar - anyone else had problems?

Hope you get sorted, I've used wailing a few times and never had a problem but then everyone can have a Friday afternoon moment.. I'd let the rac worry about getting them off the beach too if I were you.. I've stopped pulling people out now unless we're all off roaming together, we had a truck...

So having started out life as a 300tdi auto es spec the shell has had a hard life starting out as a managers car tramping the motorways, evidence remains of the original Motorola car kit however latterly it appears to have been lesser cared for finding a sheet of 2.5 mm steel plate teck screwed...

    Manual or Automatic

If your used to the finer things you'll notice a big back step.. as a manual 4x4 goes tho it wasn't bad better than its predecessors.. I'd have another if necessary but I'd be hard pressed to prise myself from automatic daily drives now..

    Disco 1 Seven seat conversion

All the fixings should be there for the "jump seats" and lap belts, the d1 doesn't carry type approval from the eec as it was t a thing then similar to the defender hence why they had to change them on the d2 to front facing seats as side facets don't pass regs the human body can't take impact...

    Manual or Automatic

Had manual d3's at work for towing absolutely pathetic clutch and flyweel kept destroying themselves on a regular basis, gutless until we had them mapped. One died and was replaced with a auto and everyone fought over it.. the manuals were fun with no trailer.. autos drove seemlessly on that how...

Need some opinions to make a decision..

Thanks, I'd pretty much ruled out the d1 on the basis of my experience in the past with them 9 or 10 years back I bought a 96 model which took some finding as good as it was as even back then they all seemed to disappear around the rear doors, boot floors and chassis.. lovely car but horrendous...
