    300Tdi Defender 90 1995-98 Standard exhaust setup

Sorry, just got back from a swim. My rear box is perpendicular to the chassis rails. Hanging on the RH rail, Parallel and close to the rear cross member. It looks like we have different exhaust systems so my photos won't be much use to you. Sorry mate. :(

Looking to buy this 98 110. How does it look like?

As it is LHD the heater box has moved to the RH of the engine bay (RH as driving that is). That means the cabin air intake is at the top of the RH wing. The Air filter is on the RH side of the engine. The air intake is on the left wing??? I thinks that it's two different vehicles.

Looking to buy this 98 110. How does it look like?

The engine pic is of a very clean 300tdi. Is the engine air intake vent not on the wrong wing for a 300tdi?

    Defender wiper box problems.

I had a bit of a saga with the wiper boxes on my Defender 90. Firstly fitted the Bearmach ones. They have crappy aluminium nuts. One of them stripped and the wiper box started clicking and eventually gave up. Replaced both with Britpart none G. I ended up taking them both back as the shaft...

As in the title. Defender 90 300tdi 1996. Lucy has been starting and driving fine. I stopped her outside a friends house for a few minutes and then set off again. I had an additional noise. It could have been the belt slipping or a split pipe. I pulled over and had a look. Could still hear...

    Bonnet wont open until 'bumped'

I have a 300tdi 90 with the spare wheel on the bonnet. The bonnet doesn't even try to pop up when I pull the release cable. I keep a wooden clothes peg attached to the pull handle. when I need to open the bonnet I just pull the release cable out and put the peg on the cable behind the handle...

Defender Wheel Carrier (Rear Door) Thread / Nuts?

The first thread is knackered on that stud. You won't get any nut to fit it. It needs a die running down it.

Defender 2.4tdci Puma Coolant System Part No.?

No worries. I hope that you get it sorted. I know what you mean. No none Landy owner can ever insult my, or any other Landy. Although my defence does sometimes consist off "It's a defender, bits fall off sometimes. You just get another bit and bolt it back on" followed by a shrug. People that...

    Wiper cable issues

Thanks Flossie. The Britpart one I got was too long so I'm still a bit confused about which I need. I'll steer away from the Britpart one. I'll put a call in to my local indy dealer and see what they say. Like you said it may be better t take the cable out and measure it. Thanks again.

    Wiper cable issues

Thanks for that Wattfield. If you've managed it before I'll give it a go. I don't really fancy taking the dash out again. Does anyone else know if there are different lengths of cable, or should I just avoid Britpart ones?
