why would it matter to me if it gets hot, obviously im thinking of melting pipes under the bonnet. but why would i touch it?? you would have to be pretty "stupid" to do that, no?

ok what if i tell you that it would be too high off the ground for a child of an age where they wouldnt realise it was hot, to touch.

ok well, we have a very bad reputation with them for lots of things, from off roading on private estates to drink driving. they park in the college car park on monday and wednesday nights every week, to catch you drink driving etc... and no its not engineering, its astrophysics!

surely having a hot exhaust is the same as having a sharp recovery eye, that could slice a childs head open if they were to run past. my point being that landys are not the most child friendly cars - front bumper at head level, too high to get in to, crap breaks etc....

well, on the one hand it may have prevented me and many others from doing such mods, that spark such debates. but then no one on here would have anything to do (inc me). and it also could have prevented many kids from burning themselves. but... oh well.

ok im guessing you think its illegal on the roads as its too loud? it actually states that there is no actual determining noise level. just if it is excessively loud. and i know there are a load of people out there with straight through exhausts. i go to a uni that has the highest rate of police...

Hello all, i know some of you may think its a bit chavy, maybe a completely useless mod, but i did it just for looks really, and it does sound quite nice with an old 2.5 td in there! i like it anyway. all opinions welcome - what do you think?

Cheers busterbus, pretty much that, just swaping the flange if it will, changing the shaft as well if it won't I guess.

Cool, just using common sense to see if anyone had already done it, to save me bothering to check it, if they don't interchange then I don't want to waste time taking the whole lot apart when, with o e simple question on here I can have an answer! - cheers question still stands...
