this is also a problem i had with the old fob!!!!!!! ill have a look on ebay for one. where are you located if u have a nanocom id probably be willing to drive if it isn't a horrendous drive if you would allow me to borrow it?

hmm yeah there is no code on the old fob anyway. i will be buying the relay on friday when i get paid. as for the switch need to get that as well

tell the bcu that i do indeed have a heated windscreen and see if i can register the fob that broke yesterday thats all for now but knowing my luck ill have a longerlist by next week haha thanks

So I bridged the gap on the broken key and I had no problems unlocking and locking and it started. I shall do another post later on asking if anyone in my area has one Thanks for the help

Well I've just been down to land rover to give them my documents as they gave me a eka in good faith as I named dropped my dad who has been a good customer for years and years I'll take apart the other key to have A look what's happening with the unlock button

Okay so it's not the battery grrrrrrr But the other broken key locked it when I got home last night so I thought it was the battery but I've changed it today and nothing has happened

where is the best place to pick up a normal one? land rover themselfs or is there someone on the interwebs that can do them

haha yeah possibly sorry to be a pain and be different ill pick up a new battery at some point tonight and see if it sorts it

it was the one i got with the car... there was a previous problem with the barrel as a key got stuck in it with the previous owner. so all the locks were changed plus the barrel. and this key was changed. thanks

i do but its at home and im not there but i noticed in the attachment that the batter is a cr2032 just taken my fob apart and its a cr1220 one which is alot smaller the fob i have at home is missing the lock button also which is why i use this one thanks
