Hi all I'm looking to buy a 95/98 my discovery manual but I'm just wondering how much difference there is between the 2nd and 3rd edition. I have chance of a 2nd edition but wondering if I'm better off paying more and getting the 3rd, I plan on using it to do my Lt230 at some point if not more...

Full service, diff oils etc, strip brakes, new softer front springs so now it doesn’t feel like the axle is welded to the chassis, all in all she’s like a new pin

To be honest I’m not doing t box just diffs, I don’t know if they have bronze in or not. Yeah sounds like gl4 the stuff just typical I get first chance in ages to use ramp and have wrong stuff

hi all I’ve searched and found alsorts but just wondering wot people’s experiences and views are I have a 98my d1 and I’m going to change the diff oils and put 80/90 in but...can I use gl-5 or does it have to be gl-4, it’s just that I’ve found things saying that gl-5 corrodes certain parts...

Thanks, just walked in with some ha. Even tho on the way out of the auto electricians he said they might not last because they tend to not like potholes so he was a bit unsure about off-roading. Either way one of my main beams is dodgy so needed bulbs anyway Thanks
