    Defender Windscreen Replacement

cost me £60 local glazier to do it for me. + materials that I bought myself. Some will say it's a DIY job, I would however get the pros with the proper toools and experience to do it. The glazier who did mine, struggled with the new seal as they are effin tight and it took a while for him to...

    200Tdi oil capacity variations

I think it's possibly a mistake then with wet/dry fill capacities mixed up. The engines are the same except for the timing bits and the turbo.

    200Tdi oil capacity variations

5.8 ltrs may refer to an oil change rather than a fill from dry ?

    200Tdi oil capacity variations

might well be 6.8ltrs from dry. But when you drain the oil to change it, some remains in the radiator so it's more like 5 3/4ltrs you'll put back in as is the case with my 200tdi when I change the oil. The 6.8ltr is handy if you need to set the dipstick which I've had to do in the past.

    Ex fire service 90

I thought mine was standard. I honestly don't know, but that pipe that's connected to the thing I pointed out doesn't exist on mine, neither does the connection to the rocker cover. It simply isn't there

    Ex fire service 90

This is the only bit I don't have on mine. Someone will know what it is. All mine has is a blanking plate

    Ex fire service 90

looks like my 200tdi, because I don't have the viscous fan or shroud either. Instead I have an electric fan. Everyone comments about the appearance of a gaping hole at the front of the engine, but that's how it appears without the shroud which is a chunk of a thing.

Tips for storing a D90 over the winter in a heated underground parking

Mine lives outside, just started it for the first time in 3 months and it started immediately. I do however put the CTEK charger on it every 6 weeks or so.

    "Refurb" headliner

without the 'soft' headliner the cavity inside the cabin will become reverberating for sound. something to consider.

    Al-ko caravan hitch

it's all about risk, tow balls aren't that expensive luckily. Would be a complete bummer if the towball you have didn't fit

    Al-ko caravan hitch

https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/chatter/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=20&TopicID=266864 in the above link, some say it's ok some say it isn't.

    Al-ko caravan hitch

al-ko uses effectively brake pads on the tow ball itself to stabilise, so as Wattfield just said, it needs to be extremely grease and oil free, or you'll need to buy new pads for the hitch.
