Retrofitted led bulbs arenot allowed. But no if the led replacement light unit is e marked and approved by a testing body (and I don't mean fake emarked like lots of the eBay ones) then it's not illigal. Not sure why your quoting all that hid ****. No one mentioned fitting hids.

but as i said if LR are fitting them then surely using quality items adjusted correctly it should be no different. Surely it would not have been allowed if dangerous as per fitting HIDS or retrograde bulbs into reflector units not designed.

i remember a lad i met on the west coast who had a big 50+" light bar on his roof , LED headlights , a light bar on the bumper , DRLS etc looked like aliens were landing - and equally melted my car when i came out the dip. I did wonder if the guy was blind - i certainly was afterwards

indeed but when not faced with mega bright white LED lighting in my face from all the audis and the like. my dim/dipped lights are more than adaquate with plenty spread and throw - in as much that i dont really need my high beams for the unlit lane to the house. but on the main A road...

Driving up the lane to my.house it transpires that the issue is not with my lights. They are plenty bright. How ever with the gigawatts being pumped out by other cars coming towarss my lights are reduced to two tiny puddles.

not a scooby right now. - they are plenty bright on main beam its just the dips that are lacking like a couple of ****y candles.

i have their binicle and mount - solid stuff would buy again. looking at dash mounts also to tidy things up in the cab and looking at the mudstuff - im refusing to pay that for a bit of moulded plastic..... at least hte raptor is solid.

cheers hicap . i currently reverse up my drive with the hazards on because the reverse light rarely works without hitting it and im fed up replacing the units with more cheap ****e units.

is there supposed to be a hole through the centre of the pump ? Mines got a through hole left to right about 1/4 way up then what i presume is the vent hole through one side about another 1/8th of the way up I dont really see how oil gets into the pump body. I had a good prod about but...

Fitted the kit. Noticeable wear on the original vanes Fitted new vanes and seals. No notable difference to the amount of suck Next stop ....servo.

Was being a fud. Just assumed because famous four did a kit there was a kit. I ended up ordering the kit anyway. Hurt a bit as the postage for the kit alone from famous four stung.

other than the famous four one - does any one have the correct part number for the brake vacuum pump refurb kit for a 200tdi ? got advisory for lack of vac on last mot so best change it before the next one..... pipe work is good and it gives a tiny bit of vac but not much - unless revved
