:D:D:DIt’s called the L322 virus some times they go into full shut down mode and will not start and die slowly on the driveway but some like yours have a little cough and feel weak for a few mins before making a remarkable and full recovery. You must have the latter

I know when ever I open my 02 door the fan is running but it has never drained my new battery which is 2 weeks old. It possibly starts up as soon as you unlock the door and so it appears to always be going!!!

I upgraded my satnav in my 02 with a bmw mk4 unit and that was just plug and play. Now have a bmw splash screen for a few seconds but at least I now have postcode options. Perhaps a same year head unit from a vogue with satnav and cd changer may be the way to go.

I don’t understand why you would want to replace static with an electronic side step for one and two if you want to replace the panel look around on a breakers site. From what I see though 90% of L322 have side steps
