    Uh oh! - clunking noise.

I bought a brand new front prop (albeit for a disco) for 60 quid. Not britpart but not genuine. Think it was allmakes. Undo 4 9/16 nuts at either end and the front prop pretty much falls off. Easy

    Quick question on 265s

get the cut done soon though. i went over a speed bump on my way back with mine and heard an expensive scrape which resulted in a slice on the tread of the tyre on the back.

have you checked the bulbs in the dash? id pull it off anyway and check all the earths you can. think theres another earth under the windscreen wen you open the bonnet (right where rain water goes.. with the sunroofs, both mine need help to open initially. ive just lived with it really.

What have you done to your Landie today.

If I put the arch where Devon 4x4 say it wouldve exposed the arch, ie cut back so much bodywork you would see the inner arch. Not the lip the main curve, there's no lip on the back of it. I'll show you when you get to uni, then I'll give you the angle grinder haha

What have you done to your Landie today.

Declined insurance due to 12 seats... not kidding

Aviva are fine with my snorkel winch bumper, spot lights and mud tyres. All you gotta say is each mod is practicality and does not make any performance increase. Make sure you get them to notice that. With the mud tyres I asked if I could put them on when I needed them ie weekends. They said...

Steering Wheel Violent Wobble at speed

mine was swivel pre load ( but replaced the swivel bearings anyway) and radius arm bushes. now polybushed. with a hint of front wheel bearing play. all adds to a stressful drive

To lift or not to lift ?

i do a lot of motorway in my disco but also a fair amount of pay and play. replaced the shagged springs with HD standard height and it lifted it a good 2" more like 3 on the back. a pair of 110 rear shocks give 1" extra travel which isnt enough to dislocate the spring. also got 265/75/16 mud...

replacement of swivel, ball as well.

Did mine other day. Set aside a day for both sides and was done just after lunch :) but I have done it before and know the time saving tricks. As far as I've always been told, if you change the bearing change the race
