I am referring yr comment on page 9- post #164 with a picture of our inj pump. Accordingly , one with yellow dot said to be the no 1 line where as in mine it's the no. 5 line.. Yr comments on post # 164 & # 221 are contradictory , though mine tallies with #221 above. I will post the picture...

Mine is different, just noticed it yesterday while changing 2 glow plugs. The yellow tab one is no. 5 and one before that is no 1 though the sequence 153642 remains correct. Checked and found BMW too has the same setup like mine.

Hi Guys, Happened to play with Nancom and found this under transmission. My question is what is the 'engine power' figure? It changes from 0 to 7 mostly and sometimes touches 52. But no relevance to engine RPM.

I bought one from lrparts for 138 GBP or so, BOSCH Indian made. Not so happy about it knowing Indian quality but it works well, so far.

97 2.5DSE, 170,000 KM Cam chains changed @ 160K with other few bits. Autobox showing some issues with a thud from 2 to 1 downshift and with D to R too.

This is a different pump. I suggest that replacing the electrical pump reusing the other goodies.

Correct Grrrr. I was just mentioning the electrical pump only. Generally, when the pump packup, other non electric parts are ok and reusable.
