    Brakes, official part or aftermarket?

There are many decent manufacturers of brake discs and pads. Even Britpart... No need to get turned over by a dealer, but I'd go for a semi well-known brand considering that you'll be staking your life on the parts. Chinesium discs will be cheap, but would you??

l322 undertuned on leaving factory gates.

Stressing the engine isn't the problem I suspect. How does the chocolate gearbox handle the torque gains?

Drive many of them and get a feel for good and bad. You'll probably love the first one you test drive even if it isn't a great example!

LR Virgin - Am I one cog short of a gearbox??

I understand that being barking mad is a requirement not an impediment. Maybe someone on here would volunteer to view the vehicle with you. I believe that booze and Midget Gems are the primary currency denominations. It won't necessarily cripple you if you can wield a spanner. If you need to go...

Old land rover claims 1400 victims

Consensus seems to be L322. Seen photos from another angle that clearly show the rear lights and high-level 3rd brake light. Could be perspective though and the flames are not actually that car, but certainly looks like the L322.

You'd need a bloody big extinguisher on that! And you'd have to be prepared to stand next to it.....
