Maybe some new glow plugs are in order ! I did think it was a bit long to heat them for but that was the way he did it and said it always started after a bit of cranking. The battery might need to be changed as well as I left the lights on for a few hours the other evening and that was enough...

When cold starting You have to turn the key until what looks like a choke symbol lights up on the dash - hold it for a count of 15-30 and then crank it over - then when it starts firing, press the throttle and she is sweet. When you have been on a run it starts a lot quicker but i still warm...

Yes Sort of in the shelf on the front below the window - it’s supposed to be there ! It’s just that I was expecting to be able to open the flaps and look out

I will get some this week when I collect it - the plastic panels are like horrid looking vent covers over the flaps

Was a bit disappointed that the flaps/vents in the front under the windscreen had some plastic covering over the inside, I thought they would just open out like a door

The first thing that caught my eye was the turbo sticking off it - everything under that bonnet looks like it’s from a previous decade or two from when it was actually made

Hi all - when I pick up my 1988 turbo 90 this week and things start falling off it and it conks out, is this the right section to ask questions about how to put the bits back on etc?? Really excited about getting this vehicle, hopefully the reality will be just as good haha

Nice one - I have already decided to buy it ...no turning back now ! it drove “nicely” and ran well -( well it runs !) it was within budget and buying it on a whim really as I was looking for a runabout van - I have another main vehicle and this one came up
