    Wide vs Narrow Tyres

I'd go 235/85's. I've got them on mine and they're great in every way! Also, i have heard of people struggling in ruts with wider tyres (although not me), so that could be a consideration too.

London Low Emission Zone - LEZ

Just checked on TFL Website and if i re-register it as petrol on V5 and register the fuel change with them i won't have to pay. Therotetically . . .;)

London Low Emission Zone - LEZ

That's odd, i know somone who has done the change and it worked fine. I plan to re-register it with DVLA as a petrol, as TLF get their info from DVLA this should be fine as it'll be petrol on the V5. Does that make sense?

    Do you trust your 90/110/130

I have, touch wood, never failed to get home. So yep, i trust mine. Although it does require quite a lot of maintenance. . . ;) Main thing is i'm amazed how long it will run until something fails. I've had a few parts need replacement due to worn components, but they've always hung on ages...

Nearly New LT77 box- 2000 miles only

If you reckon i'm asking too much, feel free to make me an offer. I'm not sure how much it's worth, but need the money to put back into my conversion. All offers will be considered. Cheers, Steve

Nearly New LT77 box- 2000 miles only

Hello chaps, as the title says i'm selling my LT77 gearbox due to a change to v8 and LT85. The box has very low mileage, having only been fitted in January and i've barely used the truck since then. I actually think the box has done less that 2000miles, but the vehicles not at home at the moment...

converting Genuine 200tdi Defender to Petrol.

This has been on my mind too- i am still worried about the cost of a conversion as well as maintenance costs. As i say i'm reluctant to spend the money on the 200 as i'd then have to find another mode of transport to get to work in London- which would probably cost me more than a conversion in...

converting Genuine 200tdi Defender to Petrol.

Quick update- vehicle went in to the professionals today and the current 200tdi needs a bit of work- possible new oil pump and new turbo. I'm reluctant to do the work on an engine that has covered 200k- despite regular servicing, when it's not really doing me any favours. I've asked the garage...
