    Green laning in warwickshire?

I can do this Sunday, no worries. Robh, you'll get an idea how scratchy lanes affect your paintjob when you see my D2, lol, it only had a couple of scratches when I bought it.....and a dent in the bonnet. That said, the scratches are the kind of surface scratches would t-cut out easily enough.

Welcome Rob. Funnily enough, we're in the throws of planning a day out on the lanes. Jacobscreek, I reckon if we do one of the routes you already have, that may be a good idea. I'm free pretty much most weekends now, so I guess when ever you're free and also Tom. Then if Rob fancies joining us...

    Green laning in warwickshire?

At the moment, Tommy and I have suggested doing some local lanes around Warwickshire. I've not had a chance to look up any other lanes (busy looking at houses and sorting a mortgage), but I think the plan is to try and plan a day/weekend within the next couple of weeks.

    Green laning in warwickshire?

I'd have to say, I've not seen any fresh closures on it. Not been down it for a couple of months, but I usually see what conditions are like before I go. I would say though, regardless of which wheels/tyres you have on, you should stay on piste anyway, otherwise you just add fuel to the anti's...

Alright mate, How're you doing? How did you enjoy the TT? I watched most of it on SKY, looked like a good TT. Do you still fancy getting out on some lanes in the near future? I have one other person/truck that would love to see some lanes. If you If you need a hand checking the route, whether...

I'll have to plan a trip to the TT sometime then. I'd like to do it on the bike, but may wait til I upgrade the Fazer to something bigger......maybe a Blackbird or either a Kwak ZZR1100 or 1400. Will look forward to your photos.

As far as I'm aware, I'm free that weekend. And depending on how many people here would be interested, I know a couple of other landy owners that would enjoy it.

Radio with a mind of its own!

I recently had the same problem, the only button that seemed to work the the eject button for the cd. A new cd player/head unit resolved the problem!! Admittedly, it was an aftermarket unit. :5bsifone:

    Lanes in Gilmorton, Leicester

Looks like a good lane. If you know a good route or two to make an afternoon or day of it, I'd be up for joining you. Also got one or two people from my club that might be interested too. Feel free to pm me if you want to sort something.

They're definitely strict with that warranty in the US!! But having worked in the technical side as an engineer for two of the top four manufacturers, I know how the warranty procedures generally work (and in my last job, I had a problem with someone referring to the warranty in the US, so had...

Sounds pretty good really!! Usually they'll state a mileage lower than they know the tyres will achieve, and in your case, if you're were able to prove the mileage of previous sets (invoices with mileage at the time of change is always worth keeping!!), but some manufacturers will have you...

I've just started watching I Am Legend on sky movies, but you're right, tv hasn't been worth staying in for. In fact, it's a good excuse to get on some lanes after work tomorrow afternoon!! lol.

Mines a Lab too. He was actually named after a black lab in a couple of books by my favourite author Dean Koontz. New thread was going to be about LZ dogs (as in pets 😉, lol) and their names. Probably wouldn't be that popular!!

Trust me, don't pay attention to their '55k warranty'!! To get that warranty, you'll have to be able to prove so many variables. Have you used them off road at all? How do they cope with mud?

Woof!!! And I bet he's an awesome dog too!!! lol. My dog is called Orson, :D I feel the start of a new thread........:5bsifone:

    Tyre choice

My colleague used to manage a tyre depot, and he reckons he always recommended the BFG a/t and claims people were sometimes saying they got in excess of 50k, and they were really good off road. The only thing with these tyres is they're so expensive, which is not good if you kill one off road...
