Green laning around Rugby (ish) ... ;)

Never realised you could tag people......I do now!! . I'm definitely up for doing some lanes (this weekend is a no go though), although ideally, I could probably do with some new tyre's first. I don't really know many lanes around Rugby, however, 110woman and a few others did the recc'ing for...

Green laning around Rugby (ish) ... ;)

Unfortunately I couldn't make the last trip, but I'm wondering if anyone fancies a little outing one weekend before the year is over. I'm still unfamiliar with most the lanes around Rugby, but so long as lanes are open, we could always use the route you did last time.

discovery 2 for breaking 2off full motors

What're the interiors like on them? I could do with a new drivers seat, but depending on the colour/material, I may look at doing the whole lot. Also, got any photos of the alloys with the BG Goodrich A/T's?

Anything Broadway / Winchcombe area Cotswolds

I'll have a look at home, but I know there is an issue of LRO Int. that has some routes around the Cheltenham area, and they're all season lanes. I think it may have been Oct. '14 issue. I used to live in Mickleton and only know of a small number of lanes that way.

Disco 2 255/65 or 255/70 Pros and Cons?

I run 245/70 R16's on mine and don't really notice much difference in performance compared to the standard 235/70 R16 (2001 D2). The actual difference in radius between a 245/70 R16 and a 255/65 R16 is around 5mm (depending on tyre manufacturer and their products actual dimensions). For those...

Cool, I'm in the ford in Long Lawford (long Lawford side). To get here, come up The Green then turn onto Clayhill Lane, keep following that lane down the track and I'm there.

I was coming through the ford and my engine has died and I can't restart. At present I'm right near the exit ramp in the dirt track side, but still in the ford.

    Green laning in warwickshire?

Would've liked to come on the 11th but busy that day. I've also got plans for the 25th, but the 18th is free, so could do the Church Stretton area.

    Green laning in warwickshire?

So that we have a date to work to, how do people fancy planning a day out on the lanes next weekend, say, Sunday 4th October? I'm quite happy to let Jacobscreek pick the route as he has a few already. How does this sound to everyone?

    Green laning in warwickshire?

Out of interest, who is the Warwickshire rep on LZ? I usually check the GLASS website, and also the local council website too if I'm doing a couple of local lanes on my own. But usually, if I'm going further afield, I'm lucky in that one of the guys in one of the clubs I'm in checks on line...
