    Another P38 (EAS ISSUES)

Right then you lovely lot I actually got chance to have a look at it this evening, the compressor runs and I have taken the pipe off of it and can just about hold my finger on it with it running so I'm assuming that it's not strong enough , but I have a massive fault code list as follows If...

    Another P38 (EAS ISSUES)

the neutral bit Im not worried about as I knew about the collar issue in the selectors was a common thing , will check those pipes when I get chance later and take my diag home and plug it in , I do have the complete system off my sprung P38 so I'm hoping I can get it working with bits from that...

    Another P38 (EAS ISSUES)

I went to look at another P38 and ended up buying it (had to put it on a recovery truck to get it home) it's a 98 DSE with a manual box in it says select neutral if you try to change range which is I'm certain I've already sussed that fault as the remote is like a pudding stirrer (stays in...

    P38A ABS FAULT AGAIN

the sensor is less than a week old ? and didnt measure any different to any of the others though, which kinda leads me to ecu or ecu wiring somewhere

    P38A ABS FAULT AGAIN

i cant remember what ohms they tested at from the top of my head, it was yesterday i looked but they was all around the same and 3 corners show 2.3-2.5 v apart from front left which shows 0v

    P38A ABS FAULT AGAIN

didnt think it would be simple , does occasionally go out for a couple of minutes but it soon comes back and reminds me that it has a green oval on the front again , looks like the ecu will be out of it shortly then as i know the sensors are good

    P38A ABS FAULT AGAIN

does anyone here know of any dodgey connection areas for the abs system as i seem to be getting a lot of abs issues with the front sensors mainly, normally (short to another faults) both sensors are new also brings up sensor electrical failure faults from time to time too all sensors are fully...

    MOT Advice Please

about half of its entire travel is ideal so if it has 6 clicks 3 is what to aim for but technically as long is it meets the required efficiency on the brake test they shouldnt fail it , if they do i would personally find another tester o_O

    Modified p38's

No they have actually worn pretty even it's either camera angle or the torch that was in the wing has just made it look like they have uneven wear

    Modified p38's

I didn't take any photos of it when I done it but I the instructions say the front of the snorkel body should be 75mm in from the front of the wing have taken a photo now for you where it actually sits for the mouths to line up as they should ,

    Modified p38's

The measurements was way off I found, I ended up making a template of the side that mounts to the wing , took the airbox out and drilled from the centre of the intake mouth then worked from that as it was about an inch to far back from the measurements they give you
