I’m a New Forest commuter and have to dodge ponies, cows, and deer in the dark. I’ve tried bulb upgrades but halogen just doesn’t cut it for me in a 7” lamp and I don’t want to mount spots. Can anyone give me feedback on the wipac units please.

Hi. Anyone else get this? My 04 double cab is fine up to 60mph. 60-70mph bad vibration droning noise. Over 70 it goes away again. It happens in all gears but at lower speeds so it's RPM related and definately engine not drivetrain. I looked at all the engine / gearbox mounts and they look ok.

Tyre pressures? can make quite a difference.

My transfer box was getting very noisy, jangling like something was loose on gear changes and grinding on decelleration, getting worse over the last 3 weeks. I went to top up the oil only to find it emply. It took 2.5 liters! Now working fine. Talk about bullit proof..... I'm going through all...

My Defender 110 rear diff whines on decelleration. I drained and refilled the oil, which contained some bronze deposits (like panning for gold!). It works fine, is there an additive to quieten it a bit that anyone's used sucessfully?

I pay big wedge for road tax on my 2004 double cab. Since the later cars were registered as light commercial and get cheaper tax. Has anyone managed to change taxation class from plc to commercial?

Today I scrubbed a techno seat base with washing powder then hosed it off, it came up like new. No need to replace them :-)

Hi all. Just bought a 2004 double cab, driving home I popped the lights in to find I have no high beam. It works on flash and dip but nothing on high, just a buzzing sound. What’s the usual fix, relay? Indicator switch? Light switch? Cheers.

Like the sound no electronic gizmos and galvo chassis isn’t that expensive really is it. Was thinking maybe a wolf?
