Re-fitted the rear A frame, no dramas, then removed the rh coil and rear link bar to start cleaning up ready for paint, found a bit more welding :mad: also found that the bottom damper mount on the axle could do with being renewed. :mad: Will cut the little bugger off tomorrow and start splashing some paint around.
Happy to get the A frame back on though, complete with new bushes and ball joint. :):)
 
Got the seat box, bonnet and grill panel all in to primer, too hot to do any of the top coat.

Oh and got the cappings back from blasting and powder coating

Cut off the rusty lower damper mounting on the rear axle. Gave everything a coat of primer.

Feck it's been a tad warm the last couple of days. 43 deg C in the shade and there aint a lot of that about till late afternoon. Glad to get the boiler suit and gloves off.

That's taking shape nicely!! Great stuff :)
 
This mornings update. Painted the bonnet and grille panel in top coat.

Just broke the passenger seat :mad: I had put it forward and then leant on it. It made a creaking sound and now won't stay in position :oops:
