    Freelander2 can't get it started!

No - don't think its the filter - I've taken the filter out of the equation by connecting the the outlet. I can suck fuel through the filter - I just can't push anything through the pump - I've just removed the high pressure feed from the fuel rail and still cant pump anything through. Just...

    Freelander2 can't get it started!

Morning! Its cold and frosty and I'm not making progress! It *appears* that I can't push fuel through the high pressure pump I've tried a bleeding bulb on both inlet and outlet of filter, I cannot push anything through the filter, so I connected the bulb to the outlet and tried to push onward...

    Freelander2 can't get it started!

Thanks Nodge, I will try again - I'm assuming that the following the workshop manual (as I've been doing is the way to go - putting the pump between the inlet pipe from the tank and the filter. This effectively pulls fuel from the tank , pushes it through the filter to the injectors and back to...

    Freelander2 can't get it started!

Hi all, after lots of servicing activity last weekend including changed throttle body and fuel filter I can't get the car started. There are no codes on SDD (there were before I change the TB) I ran the SDD process for new TB which completed successfully. I suspected that it was an air in...

just a thought now I'm sitting in the warm and dry - I fitted a cabin filter yesterday and there was a shed load of wiring in that area - could I have disturbed something that is causing the HDC fault? answers on a postcard

Does the reverse run via an idler gear of first? (That's what happened with my old '68 Midget, lost reverse and 1st got really noisy - my one and only foray into Gearboxes but I was young , dumb and scared of nothing now I'm just old and dumb! Rebuilt the MG box and lost 3rd gear within a week...

Ok another day….cold and frosty but sunny! - I’ve had to temporarily park the Haldex as I realise I need to get all the wheels in the air to rotate the prop to reach the bolts so it’s semi undone :/ - I completed stage 1 of the gearbox oil change, so drained and refilled for the first time. -...

Although- if you drop the tank are you working through the same access hole - could this not be made easier by making the underseat hole larger?
