    Series 1 109 Engine Conversion - 2.25p or 200DI

At 8000mls a year a petrol could be costly....and then there is the E10 prob....but the petrol would be more in keeping. I have a 200DI in my 88" S3.....seen some very odd comments about being a waste of time...all I can say....you should try one. Looks quite in keeping under a series...

    what exhaust for 200tdi conversion

The easy way to fit to 200 is fit it as a 200di.....use the std 2.25d exhaust manifold then....and bin the complex and unnecessary turbo.

    Engine starting help

Far as I remember.....you bleed the filter first.....then the pump both vents......no need to touch injectors....they are down stream to the pump....every time you undo an injector union you risk damaging the injector pipe nipple.....

Series 3 New Owner, New Problems - Rear Springs

Its not a big job.....cut off that one with an angle grinder.....weld a new pair on....or get somebody to do the job. If your not a mechanical type person...an old landrover is not a good idea unfortunately. It may sound a lot of work but its not really....what the rest of the Landrover...

Series 3 New Owner, New Problems - Rear Springs

Ok just been to look at mine...S3 88" should be the same as a 109" TBH that measurement wont help you you seem to have a DIY hanger mount....good chance its welded on to far forward. A more useful measurement I made....was from the rear chassis were you ask for....to the center on the top...

    E10 Petrol

I agree....but it will defiantly effect lots of classic car and bike owners.....and obscure things like small old light aircraft that can use motor petrol....also old lawn mower outboard motors....the list goes on.....as well as lots more risk of fuel vaporisation. Lots have plastic or...

    E10 Petrol

10% maybe strong enough to do damage to component's..quicker then E5.....I have had no end of probs with E5 never mind strong concentration of E10. These probs were with old motorbikes and a microlight aircraft.....damaged the fuel tank and lines ect....and vapor locks of real hot days...
