    You still struggling with this wammers??? I had exactly the same noise last week... found the front wishbone rear nut (into the rubber bush and alloy housing) wasn't tight enough.. after loosening it and whacking it up with the gun, the noise has gone.... I trust you have tried the rear bushes...

    That makes sense.. so the boot light is relied upone for the window control... i obviously have an issue with the boot light... I will investigate as I dont remember having a light in my removeable top... i guess it will be somewhere in the side panel(s). Any how.... wheres the switch.. lol

    Simple one... you open the door and the tailgate window drops enough to open it. Question.... What makes the windows drop enough to close it.? On mine.... the handle needs to be pressed to lower the windows to CLOSED it.... If this isn't right.... how does it work? Thanks Advance.. Wayne

    I got the window to come down... Apparently I missed fitting the photographed part.... but.... Now it seems that the windows goes up too far.... If the window is closed after calibration.... I open the door, the glass drops and the door can be opened.. but....... letting go of the handle...

    So.... no light.... indicates a fault with......... hmmm. I repaired the switch while the engine and box was out... the wires came off - but thats all intact now.... the gearbox I fitted was from a good know working freebie.... Is the HDC protected by a fuse? if so.. any Idea where it would be...

    @Skinny Mike - sounds about right pal..... - we've got plenty of bandages, Steri-strip (adhesive stitches) and another half who isn't afraid to use them. - lol.

    Question.... if i park up in neutral (or drive in any gear) and I "accidentally" flick the HDC collar on the gear lever.... Should I see the light on the dash... or does the light only come on when the car is going down a hill, requiring HDC?

    if it helps... I have a TD4 full motor on my drive looking for a good home... crank and cam sensors still on it.. and It was running when I pulled it out of the car.. (advertised on the parts for sale section)

    I will get shot down in flames by everyone by saying this... but..... for less that 4 quid... put a Redex Diesel Injector Cleaner into 1/2tank of fuel. I did that with mine, and oh boy.... lumpy start and misfiring when away... I know I have ONE duff injector, but I think I gave it another few...
