There should be virtually no wear on the handbrake shoes. It just holds the prop when applied. If worn then handbrake is sticking on and needs stripped to find out what is wrong.

Looks tidy, must be a pain to have mot problems. If it was so bad that it wasn't tested, you should go out and blast it clear and then look at it yourself and see if it is a lot better.

Just look at cable at the pump and adjust so that it doesn't open fully. Look under the throttle pedal and see if there is an adjustable bolt to stop pedal travel. It just means mot tester has to be gentle on the throttle as it will not go beyond gentle.

You do need to blast it out. 2nd gear and drive it up to speed at high revs on the way to mot centre is how I do it. If still a problem, adjust throttle cable so it cannot rev so hard and put it back after test.

Looks like someone has recently stamped that on to me. Should have messed it up a bit more in terms of sharpness. New chassis you dont need one but old chassis, it needs to be there.

Check the little wire on the starter. Loose or dirty connection.

Def no paint it. :)

Only thing I can think off is there is high pressure being forced back. Maybe a flexi being forced to expand and then when pedal is released it is forcing fluid back. Fact you are not getting anything through to bleed nipple could be caused by same faulty flexi.

Mine has the original 86 master and no problems with the four disc setup. If it ain't broke........................

As said above, ratchet straps to bend things into the shape you need. All bolts in but loose and then tighten fully when all aligned. Did I mention the ratchet straps, best tool to do this job when they wont align by themselves.

An 89 110 is usually needing a new chassis at that age or a lot of welding every year. One pic is not enough to give an estimate on price. What are they asking and what's it like underneath.

You either cut it or disconnect everything at the back. I just cut and used To put it back together. Solder and heat shrink would be much better.

Have you got a drawing or pic of what your are aiming for. Are you copying one you have seen. Looks good so far.:)

Did you use the timing setting tools to get it right. Then 360 degrees or more on the crank and check again.

Permanent 4x4 should not give a problem in low. Just diff lock and you sometimes need to reverse to get back out of it.
