Pulsating sound suspect wheel bearing or worse?

This. Many people don't realise that the only reason we don't tow autos is because the oil pump is driven from the engine side. If engine is running it's fine.

Pulsating sound suspect wheel bearing or worse?

How will it knacker the box? If you spend your life doing it maybe but occasionally for a test like this it will be fine

What did you do with your Range Rover today

One small benefit to epb is that in the event of an accident, the car can apply the handbrake to stop the car rolling once the accident is over

What did you do with your Range Rover today

To be fair, the last 4 or 5 cars I've bought with cabled handbrakes, the handbrakes have been close to useless. Both the Siggy and current l322 have electric handbrakes that can lock the wheels. However, when moving you can pull the button and the handbrake applies progressively and when you...

Range EFI 3.9 rockers shaft inspection

You have had a recommendation from a very experienced member. For me, I wouldn't take the risk. Many years ago I had an inline 6 vauxhal senator and it used to snap rockers for fun because the play allowed an element of slap which took longer for the hydraulic lifters to compensate for. Once...

Don't know, I didn't read the linked thread but it's certainly one of the codes listed so figured it was relevant.

    L322 19" over brembo calipers

Yes, but I won't be scrambling about on me arris. I just can't decide whether to put it inside or out. If inside, I really need to be able to unbolt it and move to the side. That said, I'm considering changing what we do to earn dosh anyway with my health being not what it was so maybe car...

    L322 19" over brembo calipers

I was wondering if I could adapt the forklift and get some tall axle stands but there's risk involved. Might have to think of some way to be able to bolt it in and out as necessary. If it went outside it would be covered when not in use but I just know jobs would get put off because it's cold.

    L322 19" over brembo calipers

Yeah, I was thinking tyre kit as I need 8 new tyres in the next month or so and figured it would almost pay for itself but I do think I will use the ramp more. Only question is whether to install it indoors and have to struggle around it for day to day stuff or fit it outside and shiver!

    L322 19" over brembo calipers

Bloody show off. That said, I have been thinking of a 4 post ramp or tyre machine and balancer but can't afford both just now so I'm not sure which will yeild most benefit soonest. I think the ramp may take priority. Took me a full day to lift the passenger side carpet and get the huge wedge...

    L322 19" over brembo calipers

I'll have a look at it tomorrow. I'm still far from fully fit hence trying to avoid anything unnecessary where possible.

    L322 19" over brembo calipers

Thanks @Mark Piercy I have bought a set of 19's already but was trying to save the hassle of jacking it up and trying them if someone could say definitively that they did or didn't fit. Was just about to order tyres for them when someone pointed out the big calipers so best check before I order.

    L322 19" over brembo calipers

Hi all, I have an 07 tdv8 with brembo calipers. It's currently on 20" rims but I'd like to put 19's on it. Does anyone know if the 19's will clear the calipers?

When it does it, stop quickly and go and check the temperature of the rear wheels. Mine did similar and It was one of the rear calipers sticking.

For the avoidance of doubt, Iso Propyl Alcohol. Yes, beer will make it sticky

L322 Interior bonnet release handle just snapped

I wouldn't to be honest. Probably dust causing the issue and WD40 will turn it into a solid sludge. I would open it up, blow it out with compressed air and if anything does need more cleaning use ipa.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

OK, so after 2 weeks in hospital, they finally decided that although I'm not fixed, I am not in any danger so they decided that I shouldn't be taking up a bed. I told them this a week ago but hey ho. Still no idea what the problem is but thankfully it does seem to be slowly clearing up by...
