    Cumbria green laning & picnic!

Chips 'd be cold by the time I got there, plus I still need a new chassis. Have a good time though.

    NWB bearings

I rang NWB Doncaster, they do identify their bearings with NWB, so I will be using them.

    NWB bearings

I was coming to that conclusion as well, will ask what identification they have on their stuff. I'll post the reply for future users. Thanks for replying MHM

    NWB bearings

OK, so nobody's heard of them then. Of course, it might be that I've been sent to Coventry. I know that they are made in China, but I am wondering if the fact they are supplied by Bearmach rather than in a blue box is enough to give me confidence.

    Nobody heard of them then?

    NWB bearings

As the title says, anyone have any experience of them? I have ordered some swivel seal kits from Mailorder 4x4 (very impressed with service BTW), and I was pleased that the parts were all in Bearmach boxes. My only question is the bearings, are they good enough? In an ideal world I'd have Timkin.

    Slick shifter

I've got one! Makes for a much better short throw when changing gears, but it MUST be set up correctly. The bias springs make a big difference to how well it works. Info here. Would I buy it again? Yes. www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqoNFfS7WFI

    How heavy's my body?

I was intending to lift the whole body off, seems to save a lot of problems with aligning bits.

    How heavy's my body?

Well, not mine, but the body of a County 90. I'm looking at the best way to lift the body off when I change the chassis. I'm thinking of renting a small digger JCB type thingy, but need to have some idea of the weight. I have a tree above where it's parked, but will have to move the body across...

MOT - no probs, or so I thought

Really useful response, thanks Aaron. I will have to have a think about the filler, the tubs in good nick, so don't really want to change it.

MOT - no probs, or so I thought

    I'll take plenty of pics.

MOT - no probs, or so I thought

I could if needed, at first glance it looks as though the existing fill point might be close enough, but I haven't had a chance to go into details yet.

MOT - no probs, or so I thought

Well, it's that time of year again, but (I smugly thought) as I flew through with not even a single advisory last year, there shouldn't be any major problems this time. How wrong can you be? The chassis that last year was perfectly OK has apparently turned into a collection of holes held...

Wanted - chassis for early 90.

Yes, I know I'll be lucky, but no harm in asking. Happy to do a little de-rusting and patching if needed.

Wanted - Bulkhead for early 90

As per the title, I don't mind if it needs a little work. Based in Suffolk.

    90 suspension questions

Still fitted, and I'm pleased. The rear rides a little higher but not unacceptably so, and gives longer travel and less of a bump when landing. Our club gives the public rides at the Suffolk show, on a specially made course. I notice the difference, especially with five passengers - they can...
