Try looking at the loom that is located in the passenger footwell, there are several really dubious 'factory connections' that depended on the extras selected. Strongly suggest resplicing questionable or crusty connections, better still use proper male and female connectors and crimp them really...

you would have to use 'passenger access' mode, not sure if you have it on a P38. We have to use it most times on our L322 because the ride has been jacked up with a lift kit by 7.5 cms

Just went out to take a look today at my window problem, there is a noise of an actuator or whatever coming from inside the door when the switch is selected from the drivers cluster and the actual passenger switch. So I will take the door card off and have a look I fear this is going to get messy!
