    Project Rusty.

It's actually my recovery rope & tow strop bucket, had to improvise as it was already late when we got here lol What says you Mr @The Mad Hat Man ? Ashcrofts for a 1.4:1 rebuilt box? Or I do already have a good Disco 1.2:1 box that I could put new O rings, output seals and bearings in and...

    Project Rusty.

Comes to something when your transfer box leaks so badly that you put a drip tray down on the mother in laws drive to Dave a puddle in the morning. Longest run out since being back on the road, 170 miles without missing a beat :) Nervous I was, but I got AA membership :D

    Dull headlights

Buy the Autoglym kit 100% I used it on my Peugeot 307 headlights and it was fantastic. Yes it's a bit spendy but I will guarantee the best thing out there for them when compared with others. https://www.autoglym.com/headlight-restoration-kit

    200tdi crank pulley ?

That circular disc gasket seals the timing case to the block at the bolt and it stops it from letting oil in through the threads creeping in through cappilliary action.

    LT230 1:2 ration transfer box.

You should be ok with that size tyre on it, standard size would be either 205/80 r16 or 235/70 r16 and your new size is an increase of around 9% (8.69% to be more exact). I run 235/85 r16 (very much equivalent diameter tyre to the 265/75) Coopers on my Discovery 1 with a 200Tdi and 70 is no...

It escalates real fast. I kind of had a feeling it was going to be a bit of a slog but hadn't planned on it being quite such a marathon lol Best thing you can do is to go further than you need and then Dinitrol coat it inside and out every year.

    Discovery 300tdi power issue

I would recommend giving it a full service all round and do the cam belt too. Fuel sedimentor bowl under the boot floor is worth cleaning out as well as checking to see if your wastegate is stuck open on your turbo, if it is then it will never spool up as it is relies on exhaust pressure and...

Clunk will be Watts linkage most likely or rear radius arms possibly, if it were props then it would be vibrating also. Don't think air to coils conversion is a problem so long as the light is not illuminated. Be as well to replace the full sill panels if she's a keeper, foot wells are a ball...
