Are you after the rubber bits or replacement weld on mounts? If it's the latter then Froggatts. When I did the rear body to sill mount the rubbers etc came with it. As far as other bits are concerned I look up the part number then search online & compare prices so I've used quite a few...

    Gems 4.6 camshaft recommendations

That's the risk. I'd be inclined to stick with a standard camshaft. Replace the camshaft, the followers, the chain & both sprockets. Perhaps have a look at Turner Engineering's website. Engine reconditioners & they sell the same items they use themselves & their prices are fine...

Don't know if this will be of any help? Click on the correct vehicle & then work through the sub menus until you find the part. Clicking on the blue number next to the part will bring up the part number. Lrcat

    Starter Motor Relay

Check & clean the battery terminals. Fully charge the battery using a battery charger. Clean the starter motor terminals. If it still doesn't work connect a good quality jump lead to the battery earth terminal & to a good clean piece of metal on the engine - to check if earth leads are in good...

    auto box refill plug

If it's putting up that much of a fight I think Datatek's welding a nut on is the solution. Do it when you get back from London.

Classic What's the thingy called? And can you buy them?

Here it is. Watch from 1:19:12: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bRs-4AXb9_U Be careful refitting the screen - might be worth getting a professional fitter to do it.

Classic What's the thingy called? And can you buy them?

I think you mean the panel that runs across the top of the screen that the screen seal rubber pushes onto. This is not part of the roof & AFAIAA there is no replacement piece for it so it's a cut one off a scrapper job if it can't be repaired. There is a 'how to' somewhere - possibly on one of...

3.9efi started to back fire after engine service

Other than plug deposits, what are you basing your running rich on? I was curious as to what the emissions figures were. NGK part finder suggests your plugs should be BPR5ES. Hotter than 6 & I wonder if that might be a contributory factor to the sooty deposits. Part Finder - NGK Spark Plugs I...

3.9efi started to back fire after engine service

I was going to ask what emissions figures you were getting at MOT time, but I see you're in NI & I don't know if your test includes emissions? Are your fuel figures in the ballpark of what everybody else gets? Does the tuned ecu alter the fuelling?

P38A What causes a keyfob to stop working?

If the other fob is working fine it suggests a fob issue. Don't assume the batteries in the non working one aren't the cause.

3.9efi started to back fire after engine service

Start by checking the leads are correctly fitted. It's very easy to mix them up. Then, starting with the rotor arm, remove the new bits & refit the old ones one part at a time & see what happens. Based on it running fine - albeit you say a bit rich - before you did the work you've either...

My 90 was used in a Ram raid

Take the insurance payout & look for another one. Fit an immobiliser. Diesels can be slightly more problematic if the fuel pump is mechanical but rather than fitting the immobiliser to the shut off solenoid - easily bypassed - consider fitting an electrical valve out of sight in the fuel line...

AIUI from the first post the plug wasn't plugged in to anything, which begs the question of - if it is for the abs - how the abs is working?

BUT If the vehicle was factory fitted with ABS then that will likely be on its original build sheet. Removal would be a modification which I would think would need to be declared to your prospective insurers. Whether they would choose to insure at the same rate as an unmodified car, a higher...

"You must inspect any ABS systems fitted. When testing ABS equipped vehicles, the road wheels that are lifted off the ground should not be allowed to rotate when the ignition is on. This can cause the ABS system to indicate a fault which may require specialist equipment to rectify. If the ABS...

Is your vehicle air suspension? I initially thought that was the petrol EFi ecu, but on reflection I think they're usually under the right hand seat and the air suspension ecu under the left.
