    Freelander 1 Fuel rail Connector.

Oh no! LandyZone seems to be printing lots of my one reply. Sorry everyone. I'm not sure what's happening.

    Freelander 1 Fuel rail Connector.

I must thank you for this information, Blodge. And would certainly order one... except, the buying price (for me in Spain) is: £5.89 + £15.99 P&P I will, however, order what you have shown and have it sent to a family UK address. I'm heading to the Isle of Skye next May for another holiday...

The Spanish have no real idea when it comes to inventiveness and...

    Freelander 1 Fuel rail Connector.

Hi. Yes, I used the spade terminals and they are a perfect fit. Nice & tight. The beauty of what I have done is that I can revert back to using the original plug, should I need to. I was out in the car today and it ran perfectly. The replacement cable, with the original plug, is carried in my...

    Freelander 1 Fuel rail Connector.

Fuel Rail Connector. Having driven from the South of Spain...to the Isle of Skye via Amsterdam – for the ferry to Newcastle, the one and only problem I had with my Freelander 1, Td4, HSE 2006, 2.0 diesel was the Fuel Rail Connector breaking its connection. I used my IcarSoft Diagnostics scanner...

    Egr Blanking Mod

The top one is stainless steel and at a very good price. I totally agree with Acrtic2's choice. My car has run much better without the EGR and will never refit the original EGR system.

FL1 Fuel Pump running time? What's yours?

From the moment my Freelander 1, HSE Td4, 2.0ltr, 2006, ignition is turned on (engine not running), the rear fuel pump runs for exactly 60 seconds before cutting out - indicating the correct pressure has been acheived. Can anyone else quote the time their pump runs for before cutting out so I...

    Freelander 1, Td4, 2.0L, 2006 Fuel Pump Req'd.

Hi Arctic. I just bought the Peirburg Pump, the one you quoted on Ebay. Fuel-Pump-Pierburg My own pump is working okay, although I'm certain it runs for longer before reaching the desired pressure and shutting-down when the ignition is turned ON. The pump will be carried in the car when going...

    Freelander 1, Td4, 2.0L, 2006 Fuel Pump Req'd.

Wow, thanks guys. I'm on to using the information you've given me. Although not the underbonnet one. That simply doesn't apply. I'll get one asap.

    Freelander 1, Td4, 2.0L, 2006 Fuel Pump Req'd.

Having researched the FL1 Fuel Pump and all its queries on LandyZone, I've learned that buying a cheap Fuel Pump (rear-R/H wheel arch type) can be a mistake. There is actually a video on YouTube of a FL1 owner playing the noise of a brand-new pump immediately after fitment. It's enough to turn...

FL1, 2006, Td4 Speedo cluster replacement. Indicated mileage?

Hi Andy, and thanks for that information. And 'YES', that helps a lot. It actually answers all my questions. Have a nice day. :)

Thanks Andy. Every bit of info helps to complete an overall picture. At the moment it seems to be a bit of a Jig-Saw.

FL1, 2006, Td4 Speedo cluster replacement. Indicated mileage?

I do not know which pin connects to what? And if I tried with an incorrect voltage/polarity I could some damage. If anyone might know which pins feed the LCD mileage display though, that would be helpful. Or a schematic?

FL1, 2006, Td4 Speedo cluster replacement. Indicated mileage?

I recently read about a guy who replaced his Freelander 1's KPH speedo with a MPH unit. He stated the indications were all over the place and had to get a garage to fix it. So I'm still a bit hesitant. Also, how did the stored mileages compare with the new one to the removed unit?

If it's of any interest, I'm showing the guts of the ECU fitted to my car - inside & out. This could be used for reference.
