    Hello!

Well I never really introduced myself and much as it's frustrating when engaging in some activities, it's generally 'better late than never'. Yes I am drinking wine dear Henry, and it probably has prompted my rewind. I am always a happy drunk :D:D:D:D

    Hello!

I have a landy and I'm very pleased to have joined LZ. I'm sure you're all very nice and I'm looking foward to asking questions about Defenders. Christmas is coming and I am praying for snow. I'm also looking forward to joining the LZ Anything Goes choir.

It's the end of the earth! Sorted now. The lady waited. Is it common for rural folk with hectares to be scared on their land when it's dark? If so, why would they live in the country I wonder?

Wow! Mind you, generally we get what we pay for. You don't really look like a defender driver if you don't mind me saying. You look more like a mercedes sports type of person. Are you a hairdresser?

Defender 3 front seat covers, propshaft and cargo side panels.

Wow, I bet they're top dollar? They'd be perfect in my tratter. Piped as well! Love 'em. Where did you get them?

What a nightmare I'm having with the couriers I gave the job to on Shiply. Bad communication, just tried to have a conversation on the phone but his English is poor, the woman's travelled to the barn she's storing the chair in, she's sat in the dark, they told her 8.45pm which is a ridiculous...

Found 'em! Here (just in case you have a middle seat like me). My car's beige so I might get these or the camo. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tailored-Fit-Beige-Front-Middle-Seat-Covers-Set-for-Land-Rover-Defender-83-07/183753252177

    Louth to Preston

... or if you live in Louth, you might want to pick up a dog guard and post it to me, as the ebayer is sticking to collection only. I'll give you a tenner for the latter + 15 quid for postage (most guards charge 10 -15 but they're travall and I want the one in Louth). Only got 30 mins though.

Defender 3 front seat covers, propshaft and cargo side panels.

Might be worth getting em then. I thought about it earlier but the chap on ebay selling his wants 140ish quid. However, if they've lasted nine years then it's worth it.

    Possible heater improvement

Bloody hell. You have to be brainy to do all that. Without putting a bigger one in like this, can you improve the heat by just putting a new matrix in?

Defender 3 front seat covers, propshaft and cargo side panels.

Thought the seat cover thread on its own might be seen as trivial, and three separate posts a bit extravagant: 1) It's actually a good question as some of you will have tried many different brands of seat covers. In my other past cars, some covers I've had come out of the washing machine with...

    Defender doors

Galvanised are supposed to be better I've heard?

    Quick soundproofing question!

Mine took 3 x 50 boxes of the big silent coat tiles (more a3 than a4 size). It did everything including roof and bonnet. Put dodo over it. Made a big difference. Only thing I didn't do was door panels (yet). In terms of dodo I did roof, side panels bulkhead and seat box with two 10m rolls.

Yayyyy! At last I have a problem - wing mirrors

That'd make sense actually, the switch being right of the steering wheel.
