Your right they have them as well for adult but the back of the seats also slide up which I presume would be for kids.

The headrests are built in, they slide up when you unfold the seat.🙂

I think the tanks are 21 gallons (95 litres). I normally run it to about 380 or 400 miles before refilling. I can't 100% trust the gauge as when I replaced the sender unit I couldn't be bothered to muck about bending the float so the gauge reads very slightly under (better than over reading)...

I've made a stainless (rustless) steel mudflap bracket to replace the original, I'll have to nut/bolt it instead of the original stud/nut, out of a bit of scrap I had kicking about, one more to do.

I don't get the cut ya nose to spite ya face type, I would much rather see a vehicle I own go to a good home if I couldn't be bothered with it. Yes please keep us posted. My D2 2001 TD5 auto bog std except for stage 1 Alive remap does about 22mpg, general running about & about 25-27 on a run. Out of interest what mpg do you get out of yours ? All the best.

Talking of farmers not letting stuff go, this has sadly been in the same spot for over 20 yrs ! I did talk to someone a couple of years ago who does odd jobs on the farm & he said he thinks the farmer has had offers but either not enough or just wants it to rot away completely 🤔 such a shame...

I was only thinking maybe had a replacement BCU manufactured in 2019 ? I know they use what week of the year stuff was made, the 19 could be the week in the year it was made but how you decipher the year from the rest who knows, if indeed it is a date code at all.

Hi, had a quick look at the window switch you sent back & as you can see from the pic the contacts are a bit burnt :) but nothing a clean won't fix so as suggested it would be worth checking your heated seat switch,all the best.
