    The casing looks very like my R380, but maybe it's an LT77. My bellhousing is different as I've got a TD5, but you're probably right. Even so, if there's any torque getting through, they can be reluctant to shift.

    I can tell when my propshaft joints are getting loose because I get vibration at about 50 mph. So I would be in 4th or 5th at the time because with anything lower the engine would be screaming! Other vehicles may vary of course, but that's what happens on mine.
