I would suggest a deposit. Unfortunately a few tool sets have gone missing over the years which is why some are a little loathe to let them out of their sight.

How about I have a word with @MrGorsky about swapping his LPG onto it and if we successfully get a ticket for it you can sell it and you can split the cash?

You are correct. There's a bit count from 0 to 255. There are default values for each height setting somewhere on this site. After that I find the calibration blocks easiest to grab the correct values. Again, the dimensions of the blocks are on here somewhere, probably in the late Wammers How...

I usually average the readings across each axle. It will be close enough.

Had a look at Matrim. The Jag kit is £20 cheaper now than the Rangie one I got years ago. Pretty sure it was £65 or £70 at the time. That was a surprise.

Dopey's is in the Technical Section. My Jag one fell down this weekend blocking my rear view. Emergency drawing pins to the rescue and another job added to the list.

From memory there's an oval section each side that cones off with a spring and an o-ring underneath. Could that be leaking and that is what you are picking up? The one on the engine side is awkward as ****.

They'll be something to catch the vapour and then burn that off when running. The valve might be jammed on that. Cannot recall what it is called. EVAP? Doesn't sound quite right.

Brown does not sound good. I'd be tempted to chick in some transmission fix, do 200 miles then change again. It'll take 2 or 3 changes to get all the brown out if it has been that bad.

I think @MrGorsky is going to take the LPG off his GEMS. Stick it on that '95 and it would probably pass emissions.

    P38 alarm and immobilizer problems

Turn off EKA and passive immobilisation. I think RF interference can cause it to lose sync although why it would is a mystery. Mine certainly did regularly until I fitted a generation 3 RF receiver.
