Brought a leather refurb kit to do my RS 4 spoke steering wheel. Had loads left over, so I repaired the steering wheel in the Freelander. Before All done, and leather protector applied. Also found a collar, so I could tie the top the gear lever gaiter up.

Cheers, I had them on my old Freelander. On the 16" alloys. They come with 2 sizes of removal tools too. :)

Rubbish service that, my mk3 Escort had manual choke and my old mk3 fiesta. I prefer carb engines, took me the best part of a year to get the efi engine running right. It's a nippy little car now though, only 110 bhp but car weighs less than 800kg. :)

No Pompey, its a 1.6 cvh efi engine. It's a nightmare to find parts sometimes. Have you tried Ford, as sometimes if the is obsolete. They'll give you the last finis code. Then Google that number, normally you'll find the part. Good luck with your search. :)

    Freelander TD4 2005

Repair all done, happy with the result. Just needs a polish up tomorrow afternoon. :D Scratches removed. Primered, was sanded down before base coat. Base coat, sanded then lacquered.

Prep is the most important part, for a good finish. I'm alright at small body work repairs, but don't think I'd attempt a whole car. :)

Sand down, then plastic filler primer, primer, paint, lacquer. They don't look too deep, but filled with touch up paint. Was going to blend it in. But better to do full panel. Thought about popping the panel off, but knowing my luck I'd break the hole thing lol lol......theres some bad touch...

Got 2 new exhaust hangers welded on today, original exhaust is solid. Just hangers were near enough hanging off. :) Also sorting this bad repair tomorrow by a previous owner. Done a test, with white and gray primer. And to check colour match. Gray primer is the closest. So hopefully...

    Freelander TD4 2005

Cheers mate, I've got a mk4 Escort as well. That takes priority over the Freelander. :D Cool, you need to start a build thread. So everyone can see your progress...... I Re-fitted my light guards earlier. And made myself a new rivnut tool. M5 X M6. :D Simple but effective.
