P38A Anyone know if the M52 in the p38 will run on veg oil (SVO)?

A new service station has opened near us, it sells just one fuel at 1€20 a litre seems to be for lorries not sure what it is, only ever see the odd lorry on there and it is not manned, one of my sons mates did the ground work for the sight but did not get a straight answer as to what it was,

Hi I have changed the master and slave cylinders on the TD5 some time ago but still have a bit of air in it, think because it is LHD it is harder as there is a extra length of pipe taking the fluid to where the master cylinder would be on a RHD, running along the bulkhead, making another 1.5m of...

    Certificate of Conformity

Logic would say you should not need one as the car was registered new in UK so must conform when new, but not always any logic in this, I know people that have taken cars back to the UK and they have just been given the old reg No back, will you have to pay tax on it when it goes back to UK?

    headlights for freelander 1

My van RHD and I changed them for the same reason, Like you say 40€ not a big thing but if you have a car with very expensive lights and you do not do a lot of night driving than the beam deflectors are okay

    headlights for freelander 1

As far as I know now for the ct test you can just use the beam deflectors, my son has a C4 RHD which they passed with deflectors but I would check with the test centre you use, if you drive it a lot at night I would probably change them as the lights are better than with deflectors

    New Disco 4 Owner!!

Enjoy it, I think part of the problem here is people only come here when there cars are broken and normally broken in a big way, not many people come to a sight like this to tell every one how well there car is going, good luck and remember when looking back at life not many wish they had bought...

    High mileage L405 advice

Best way to be cars always drop in price so a better deal can always be had later, many years of car buying has taught me that if a can looks at all dodgy it normally is, if buying privately always look at the way the owner is and lives,

    Metal chunks in sump

I would think you are right, looking at the bits there would be a valve not opening, I would check tappets and check all valves open and close okay
