Newbie Freelander 2 with a vibration and rubbing noise

Sounds like the driveshaft / CV joint is the culprit to me

It was actually very good - despite it being a disco 2 šŸ˜ In fact, they really let you test the capability and put it through its paces. I was impressedā€¦ and it was running on aired-down road tyres! They were doing some training there with London Fire Brigade (they do off road training for all...

Off to do some quad biking and off-road driving this afternoon. The off-road driving is in discoā€™s - still, canā€™t have everything. Iā€™m taking boots in case they leak or break down. Or both. šŸ˜

These are power hungry cars and need a good battery, otherwise they throw all sorts of hissy fits!

Freelander 1 td4 2ltr manual abs and bearing issue

Bleeding the brakes will likely not resolve the abs issue. As suggested already, itā€™s likely you damaged the abs sensor / magnet. When you say ā€˜the wheels locking upā€™, do you mean because the abs is not working now?

Freelander 1 td4 2ltr manual abs and bearing issue

Itā€™s ok - itā€™s been moved here, to the Freelander section, where you are much more likely to get in seen and answered šŸ‘

3-gun used ones generally end up on the Bay of E for about Ā£60. TBH, you can get a new one for not too much more, that is guaranteed BS approved. And when yer cabinet is one of the things that could displease yer FEO, Iā€™d go new every time! Heā€™d be best looking locally, as shipping stings on...

    Freelander 2 (LR2) Tyres (again)

The Wildpeaks also have the 3 peaks marking. Iā€™ve been up and down the motorway on them and can honestly say I find them no different to the G015, and wouldnā€™t call them noisy.

FL2 NO START / NO DASH

Are you sure the battery is good? I say that as I know these cars are really fussy about the battery, and power hungry. You have a crash input code showing, which AFAIK can be caused by the battery power falling too low. Couple this with very cold weatherā€¦?
