Don’t give them a reason,as for pay load, what’s the difference in the payloads? Iv never looked at the difference.

Some parts are better than others on series stuff. I sometimes put newer/updated parts on,it’s hard buying stuff for 1950smotors

My fog light is on the coloum,opposite side to the lights. And I have a dash light/interior light switch on that plastic.
What year is your motor ? I like to know all the little changes they make

Shrink the middle seat . Instead of reclining to get flat,could you tilt the whole seat forward into the footwell area?
If you do shrink the seat who would be able to fit on it?
Have you thought about fitting an isolator switch? Done this to mine & starts every time.
It may sit there for a few weeks without starting. That way if there is a problem I know it’s the battery,before getting the tools out to inspect the rest.
(Last batter drain was a relay stuck on)
Ran relays(solid state) expensive but reliable on racer
Put relays in road motor & switch’s were cooler with standard lights.
Have you thought about a light bar?
As its position is roof height it pick up ditches/ridges easier.
