There are 2 sizes of calipers( plus vented ) Have you any photos of the caliper you have ? Yes you can use defender calipers

They can stall with a bit of crap wedged into the pick up pipe out the tank. But also feels like there is a restriction/lack of fuel. Ours was like a match size so let a bit of fuel past but could not hold full revs. Yep check valves. It’s 1 less thing it can be & rule it out

The front comes off.2 very thin items to prise the left/right at the middle of the switch Face comes off to show bulb. My bulb does not flash but trailer light shows up as the warning lamp

Another thought… There used to be free wheeling hubs that lock automatically as the wheel/drive shaft turns. This sounded like witchcraft Unsure how far the shaft has to turn before locking/releasing. Also may mean the ARB is always disconnected till it’s too late. Think they were made...

Centre seats in a 90 are normally lap belts. Think series were the same. Could you put the retractor on the other side of the tub bulkhead? May be in the way if you have a spare wheel.
