Greetings everyone,

I have been slowly restoring an old Ex-Aussie Amy Series 2 and I have replaced the Holden 202 engine she had in her when I got her and back to a newly build 2.25l Landy engine, so I don't know what some things would have looked like back in the 'olden days'. I have purchased/rescued the battery and air filter tray and I have tracked down an oil bath air filter and now getting ready to install it all, however I can't work out how the battery/airfilter tray attaches to the chassis. The car is right hand drive, so the right hand chassis rail has the steering components on it and I can't work out where or how the tray attaches to the vehicle. Any clues or hints would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Paul

The tray is held upwards by angle iron supports. Looks a bit like this. Air filter the same

the supports miss the steering bits, i chopped mine off to move forward and fit higher to allow a 200di engine in, then fitted an additional strut to support air filter with an 8mm nutsert in chassis
