I must confess to a "wasted day". My bad. I have achieved nothing, done nothing (except put together my new chair (cat has the other one)) and I feel as grumpy as anything. Note to self...Get a life! :)

Hated school. I wasn't a dunce by any means, but the whole mortar-boards & gowns gig was just OTT. Then 2 years in and settled down I got moved to a different school when we moved house and that was even worse! A Grammar/Tech that had merged with a comprehensive. Hairies & Skin-'eads...

Back when IBM was still a proper company (cos' I was in it).... they decreed that all salesmen should have a fountain pen to sign contracts with (or to offer the customer to sign the contract with). They dished out "IBM Logo'd" Schaeffer fountain pens to us all. Gold electroplated and all. :)...

My Father always wrote in turquoise ink. He had a wonderful cursive script. Me? I am the left-handed drunken spider that fell in the inkpot. :D

I think he regularly bashes his meat. I don't. I find that adequate salting and time (1 hr per inch thickness) does the trick. :)

I think the chef had added a garlic sauce, but he wasn't keen on it. ;)
