Disco 2 TD5 Low Fuel pressure!!

Check the voltage on the pump's connector across the two pins while it's running, if it drops below 12V check between the live pin and body and if it's the same it's a contact issue somewhere if OK against earth the problem is on the earth path but if it doesnt drop i'd say that the pump is gone...

    ABS compatabilty

Connect the electrical plugs into the working ABS modulator near the one in the vehicle without fitting the pipes to it just for test to make sure it's not an external wiring or SLABS ECU issue in which case you will get the same codes with the good modulator too, if no codes with the...

Off topic: Unfortunately i lost my skills with french after high school cos i didnt have who to speak with, i've learnt french for 6 years as the second foreign language in school, english was the first for 8 years cos in the romanian communist regime before 1989 everybody had to study two...

    Towing w/ 2015 D4

Your D4 can handle well that boat/trailer without any isuses as long as you dont break any australian rule nd you know how to drive it no worries. The D2 is lighter and with less power than the D4 and i travelled much all over Europe with a Beneteau Antares 8 fully loaded with fuel, drink food...

    ABS compatabilty

Hi, all those pictures are about a ABS modulator which's part number is 100% irrelevant, as long as it was removed from a D2 it doesnt matter if it's an older or newer version cos they are all the same so if you want to replace it for some reason you can do it without fear ...though you should...

if you have an old hub within reach cut it in half with grinder to see how the ring is fitted inside it then if you'll still have a dillema i'll explain you the best way i can which might not be clear enough for an englishman cos i translate hungarian language to english in my mind ;)

    disco 2 td5 & icarsoft diagnostic tool

Yes, i can help: buy(or fin somebody with) a dedicated tool which means nanocom or hawkeye... all the rest(your Icarsoft included) are a kind of bad jokes when it comes to EMS...(my bad that i recommended Foxwell at a time then i realised it's unreliable for EMS) ...though Foxwell is the best...

    Discovery 1 immobaliser

if that's all you cand do in your own thread after 6 replies to the first post you wrote(one reply with seerious info) i think you dont deserve a licence to drive a vehicle cos it can be dangerous for others, get some therapy m8 cos the "imobaliser" is your last concern IMO.... no offence

In many cases the play is not noticeable in the wheel or hub, the problem is the reluctor ring inside which develops a wear and a play which doesnt affect the bearing but it mixes up the sensor's signal.

    BBUS/ AMR 4974

Sorry, i missed your signature which reveals that your's is a V8 and presumed it's Td5, you are right, for V8 its a different setup and if there are shorts to earth within the BBUS it can trigger the relay or directly the horn and if the fuse which blew was F3 in the interior fusebox then the...

    Discovery 1 immobaliser

Seems that it's just another post for the same issue https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/discovery-1-300tdi-immobiliser.395564/ and as it's automatic it doesnt have a spider(that's for manuals) but "Electronic/EDC immobilisation" which can't be "hacked" by joining wires so quit doing this cos...

    BBUS/ AMR 4974

The BBUS on such old vehicles is quite useless anyway IMO, i disabled mine on the D2 with nanocom and got done with it... on defender it shares the earth with the alarm sounder which is triggered with +12V on the other pin so a live short through the BBUS to the alarm sounder would not make it...

    Disco2 cruise control

Hi, better get a proper manual ECU and sell your's cos botched up auto ECUs dont work well on manuals even if it seems so, the engine management is on a kind of default mode to override the surge damping... the auto ECU needs invasive intervention made by somebody who knows exactly how to build...
  19. sierrafery

    BBUS/ AMR 4974

If the horn and alarm sounder went off i seriously doubt that the BBUS is the problem cos it can't trigger the other two, the BBUS is supposed to sound on it's own speaker if the battery is disconnected... better replace the alarm relay first to make sure it doesnt have a weak spring or the...

    Water hose in throttle body

Hi, a f a i k that's for the throttle body heater/defroster, missing it can be a problem only if it gets extremely cold outside, many V8 owners are bypassing it cos it used to leak quite often
