    300 tdi broken glow plug

Thread revival (via my google search on looking to remove a tip) - Ive been running my 300 on and off (not many miles) for a couple of years now, with a stuck tip. Not many motorway miles, but devon hills on boost. Tip still stuck. Was thinking i should get around to doing something about...

What loom would be best for my landrover 90 thats now running a 300tdi

autosparks. but the bulkhead loom is about £1k if your bulkhead loom is salvageable, get it all out of the car, and onto the kitchen (etc) table, with a battery connected up, the bulbs etc in place, and a wiring diagram. go through it all, and work it out, and repair it. if you can do that...

What loom would be best for my landrover 90 thats now running a 300tdi

ps bare in mind that a 300 loom from autosparks is insane money, so look up the costings before you get too carried away

What loom would be best for my landrover 90 thats now running a 300tdi

Id go 300 loom, and get blade fuses etc. If you change the headlights to LED (either a drop in bulb in standard housings or all-in-ones) you dont get the heat at the connector. I can see no bonus to keeping the older loom if your going to be changing the temp sender etc as it is - the thread...

Disco 1 300tdi Fuel tank connectors

I just looked it up. M12 fine thread has a 1.25mm pitch. These use a 12x1.0mm thread. So, yes, 12mm but not standard. Again Ali express has the tails. eBay probably does too.

Wanted Pair of 88" van sides, with small rear windows only (no side windows)

Wanted: Pair of 88" van sides, with small rear windows only (no side windows) I don't care about the paint job at all, but I'd like the metal to be reasonable. I'm at J27 on the M5 (tiverton area) - anyone got a pair close-ish? They seem to be on ebay up north all the time! Picture...

    Island 4x4 website - broken?

Thank you. That's exactly what im getting too. Im guessing that their server is just stuffed, rather than theyve gone bust - if they had gone bust, then the server would (in the short term) still run. Ill see if i cant ring through my order - im guessing it may be dispatched quick if all...

    Island 4x4 website - broken?

My usual go-to supplier's website isn't working, at least not for me. Is it just me, or is it broke for everyone? Eg - https://www.island-4x4.co.uk/check-strap-channel-britpart-mwc5018-p-24657.html (google is still giving hits but when I click on it it's just nonsense server stuff)

Disco 1 300tdi Fuel tank connectors

If you need the actual tails, you can get them off Ali express (they are an unusual thread, I can't remember the details but I can look it up if you're stuck)

Someone has been posting the same problem on one of the Facebook forums. That's not you, is it?

Heating Oil mixed with Veg Oil fuel?

The cost of landrovers now... Morals aside, would you want to risk loosing the truck for a bit of cheaper fuel? Instead of kerosene blends, maybe just take the time to learn how to run an engine off vegetable oil? On the animal fats topic - I used to pick up beef tallow, and make it into...

Post 90's/pre-L663 90 model with airbags? (First time Landy).

Haha... Is that because when you crash you're stuffed with or without air bags? (I have a 110 - I won't take my 5yr old daughter in it as I value her life more than my own)

Help required in the Portsmouth area 110 300tdi defender

This doesn't help with your original question, but, if the bulkhead is off, and repaired, really, dont put it back in. Brace the bottom, get it blasted and hot dipped, and youve instantly solved yourself a load of future bother. With regards to your actual question, I too am out of range, but...

Zeus Timing Gears for 300TDI - wanted

With the updates to the 300 timing chest (moving the lip about etc) the belts last well enough for most that I'm not sure the gears are that desirable? This, coupled with, the lack of real damage when the belt goes (some pushrods and, if you're really unlucky, a rocket) it seems hard to justify...

as above, look at the pipes under the bonnet when it does it. see if any are collapsing, then work out why (if they are)

    Help defender wiring

A 300 engine bay loom is about £1k. I doubt it's a sensible answer to the chap to just say "your loom is no good, get a new one" : ( @joec110 - Get the wiring diagram for your loom. Go through it all on the kitchen table before it gets anywhere near the car. Make sure it all works (ie have...

First registration date for 300 defender?

Are we talking a britpart screen washer pump vs an OEM one? If so, I'd be fine with that. I'm ok with the britpart washer pump. I'm not so ok with an axel swap. There is a spectrum.

You want to be finding the right shaped "tuit" for that one! : )

First registration date for 300 defender?

My thing is always... If you mow down a que of "primary earners" at a bus stop, how hard is your insurance going to try to get out of paying out?
