    Hammer them off or a thin chiesel between hub/ bearing and carrier, you could do with a puller to get the driveshaft out most likely.

    A well respected diesel repair specialist has confirmed the injection pump is highly unlikely to be the cause of the problem. Another respected independent has suggested the timing is out. It's going back to the company who changed the cambelt.

    Well, it's not the injectors causing the problem. It drives well but still if you come off full throttle, after 1 min or so, it will stutter and rough idle then resets itself. I have come to the conclusion that the o-ring on the fuel pin is leaking fuel into the boost pin area. I have no idea...

    I don't think clutches are particularly cheap on most modern cars are they? Although saying that I paid to have a clutch on my Focus earlier in the year and it was just over £500. If I need a clutch done on my TD5 I will just have to cry as I don't really have anywhere to do it.

    I just Googled your question and it said it can make the exhaust smell differently to normal. I think that is with older fuel and fuel with water in it.
